FENCING AND PET CONTAINMENT

So what kind of fencing should you get to contain your dog

There are multiple options at your disposal.  Choosing a fence design to contain your dog (s) usually encompasses style and purpose.  Many dog owners have experienced the difficulty of trying to find an affordable dog fence that is also safe.  Maybe you've heard of the invisible or electronic fence that is designed to contain a dog within a given area of a property.  If you go with the electronic option, your dog is likely to bark non-stop as people walk by.  After all, traditional Utah fencing can block your dog from getting a good look at other people.  Also, electronic fencing doesn't stop other animals or people for that matter from entering your property and possibly causing harm to your dog.

When choosing a dog fence, you have plenty of options.  Try to choose a fence type that is affordable and practical at the same time.  Wood and chain link fencing can work just fine, but ensure the fence is aesthetically pleasing and strong.  You might want to choose a chain link dog run type fence if you want the animal contained to a small area.  These dog runs are secure and convenient, while allowing your dog the ability to exercise and play.  Chain link dog runs that are designed properly, are an affordable solution.  However if you desire more freedom for your dog, and your yard is sufficient size, a fence that surrounds your yard might be the ideal option.  Best of all a perimeter fence is an optimal way to add protection, value, and privacy to your property.  Because most dogs like to "dig," you might want to consider placing large rocks that are partly buried under the fence line.  Or, when your fence is installed you can have the bottom of the fence buried below the surface of the ground.

When choosing fence companies in Utah, be certain to pick one that has a proven track record, such as Vinyl Industries.  Make sure that your fence installation technician understands your fencing purpose (such as containing a dog) so that any modifications can be made if necessary.
